So now it is time for the final part.

I'll start by giving a point to "THE JIHAD". I feel it's the weakest of the list.

It's been more than two days, but I hesitate to eliminate the episode that got the point, given that I was the one who put down the point.

Since there are so few people who vote on this series, instead of 4 point eliminations, what if we reduced it to 3?

I'll put one vote in for "Pirates". I find this one to be a mix of "Journey to Babel" and "Spock's Brain" or "Amok Time" (trying to save Spock), hence it seems to be less original than the other three. Also, the neutrality issue should have been resolved in "Journey to Babel" once the autopsy was finished and the Orion's ship power profile was analyzed.

One point towards "Eye of the Beholder." While all 4 scripts a have pretty much plot-by-number story lines, at least "Albatross" and "Pirates" have the Kirk-Spock-McCoy dynamic going on and what they'll do in order to save Spock or bail out McCoy. "Jihad" at least has some interesting guest characters with quirks that keeps things interesting. "Beholder's" guest cast from the other ship are just plain boring as the main cast runs through the obstacle course with Kirk and McCoy quibbling over how Spock words things. Ho hum.

Albatross is the one I like least from the choices. I like the first two a lot more.

Since there are only a few that vote The Animated Series, should we have for the Final Round an episode eliminated after 2 votes instead of the usual 4?
