I notice that the new, Season 3 uniforms suffer from "hanger" stretching at the upper back/collar regions; especially seen in both Kirk' and Chekov's upper, rear uniforms.

I was always impressed with the screen perspective as shown in The Doomsday Machine when the young lady walks past Kirk and we could see the actual stars moving rather than a still picture of an area of space!

Yes but at least these uniforms don't shrink or fade! ;)

In "The Way to Eden," I always crack up when Scotty gives the jammin' crewman the "Seriously, dude?" look:

Even abysmal episodes have something good in them.

Rewatching Season 3 in production order recently, The Way To Eden was actually a bright spot for me!

It annoyed me greatly as a kid, particularly because it has a little element of Spock fanservice in it (complete with anti-Kirk sentiment), but it's actually not a bad episode.

I remember recording the shows on video back in 1980 and being annoyed that the BBC were showing the much later episodes of the third season before the crackers like Day of The Dove and The Tholian Web! Those tapes were pretty expensive back then! :wah:
