I see the old TTRPG thread is dead and I don't want to run afoul of the "no resurrection" policy, but I'm playing in an "Adventure Gaming in the Final Frontier" game below as a Play-by-Post on Unseen Servant:
And it's tons of fun! Unfortunately I only have a PDF copy of the game, but it's a real old school feel. The game is located here, for anyone who wants to read the play: http://www.unseenservant.us/forum/viewforum.php?f=219

PbP gaming is, by it's nature, slow-paced (I enjoy it for that, and for the ability to play with folks all over the world, but you don't have to be online at the same time :) ) so the reading of how we've played should be fun. I don't think I'm breaking any rules by posting the link to the game. And I'm hoping that there are still a few folks on the forum playing the table top/RPG type Trek games out there :D Funny enough while Star Trek is my favorite TV series by far, I don't play a lot of SciFi RPGs, mostly fantasy, but the game above I've been having fun in.
    Be well everyone,

Cool! Thanks for sharing. My favorite type of game is PbP. Back before I stopped playing fantasy with occult themes I used to be devoted to Legend of the Five Rings. A group of 10 or more GMs would get these forums together and run games for like 90 people. There were like 10 spots per faction, plust some wild cards. And you'd have posts covering all sorts of activity in the cities.

Anyway, I'm happy to see a forum game surviving like this.

Funny, that same GM is also running a Legend of the Five Rings game on Unseen Servant too. :)
My schedule definitely allows for PbP moreso than a regular FtF game. But both are fun, but this game has been great. And the pace is even slower than a normal PbP, but that is fine by me as it gives me opportunity to look stuff up in the PDF or whatever. Good fun!

Thank you. I'm working on some stuff that I think is going to be much better.

Oh, and what is Unseen Servant? You can message me.

I don't think I can message yet. :) But it's a Play-by-Post forum. Set up very similar to this forum, but the subforums are PbP games utlilizing various RPG systems. It's quite fun and can be found here: www.unseenservant.us
