Things that frustrate us all

My damned hands don't work the way they used to. One of the symptoms of aging is a little arthritis and weakness in my hands. I drop stuff and have a hard time opening bottles and jars and I can't fold up my folding knife any more. Oh well - woe is me. As my dad said, the only thing worse than getting old is not getting old.

Ouch. I’m starting with the same.

Eye sight ain’t what it used to be either.

Have they deliberately made every car so riddled with sensors & gadgetry that every single discrepancy must be met with a dashboard alert? Who cares if my gas cap is slightly loose, or we get winter temps & my tire pressure drops a pound or two. I live where things rust, & all of these dumb gizmos go bad constantly, so there's more for you to fix.

I swear, apart from the nice breeze & outdoors scents, I think the main reason I like riding motorcycles is because it's just an engine with some wheels. That's the way to drive. I think I'd rather drive a car made in 1919 than in 2019

Back from my trip today. So very tired. Like sitting and staring at the floor and muttering, "I'm so tired," but not getting up to go to bed or put on my jammies.

*sigh* Hubby's game day is tomorrow so I have to get up early and vacuum, so the guest won't have tumble-weeds of cat hair brushing by their ankles.

that's an awesome idea! =) Our dog is a collie mix and sheds about 1 west highland terrier per day. He must convert about 80% of his food into hair.
Also, have you noticed that pets always lose hair in the colour contrasting most with the colour of your pants/dress/furniture/carpet? If you wear something light, they'll shed dark hair. If you change into something dark, they'll infallibly shed light hair.

argh of the day: forgot to post an important letter. Gotta do it first thing tomorrow so that it arrives in time.

I guess it doesn't help that I have two mostly-white cats and a black cat. I'm screwed!

That’s Air Canada and their otherwise awesome laser-based luggage scanners for ya.

More frustration: Not being able to register my Presto card because I don’t have a Canadian address

Photobucket and their obnoxious watermarks. Just saw them on some of my older stuff and it ruins them. So now I have to save them again and remove them one by one and then re-upload them to Imgur. I'm so grateful that Imgur doesn't do crap like that.

Frustrating: Listening to some dude go on and on and thinking it may be a scam, but I don't know for sure.

Is this a scam?

Okay, this guy calls up people selling houses, asking if they are still for sale; many houses for sale since hurricane Michael swept through.

He will tell them he's calling from a certain city, when he is in fact calling from another city -- two different cities separated by miles.

And some people asking him for more info' results in him telling them he's working for investors.

Somebody next to him asked him if he makes any money and he replied it's great money if you can get the work.

So, we have a guy cold calling people, on behalf of investors he doesn't even bring up unless asked, from a public place when he says he makes great money; so why is he not inside a comfy home making these calls?

The things sounds fishy to me.

What helped before, just time?
Ultimately, time. But I drank buckets of tea, stayed as quiet as I could, used every trick I've added to the arsenal over the years...It takes a while, particularly if it's stress related. If it's pollen related, I'm not sure. I will pick up a large Starbucks medicine ball tea on the way to my babysitting job to help. This is the time I enjoy the ability to order online.
