Tribble characters now available for Star Trek Adventures!

I've been interested in it, but I've got a bunch of other book stuff I'm collecting (including the old LUG RPG books), so I haven't decided if I'll do it or not. Esp. with DSC being made, meaning that there's a whole new series not being covered.

Edit: Was the article and the Tribble PC sheet an April Fool's thing?

Okay. Downloaded the sheet in the case I do get the books but I can't make sense of it given my inexperience with the game. Even if it is an April Fool's thing, is it a fully functional PC template, even if a silly one?

You'd need the core rulebook to understand some of the elements of character generation, so yeah, it's a complete Tribble PC write up, but without the context of the rules, it's sort of not useful other than as an amusement.

I assumed as much for the bolded. If I was running a game, I'm not sure how much mileage I would get out of the actual PC rules (although I would try and accommodate players if they wanted). On the other hand, I would use the Borg Tribbles somewhere in the story. Heck, if I wound up using my old LUG books, I'd still try to "downgrade" the new stats to have Borg Tribbles in the Icon system (that was actually one of the downfalls of the LUG books; there were no Borg stats period, with fan-made materials the only exceptions).

Thanks.

I was wondering what my GM was on about when he posted "No playing Tribbles!" Glad to have that clarified. haha
