What We Left Behind - Documentary Update Confirms *Some* HD Remastering

There's a Worf show in the offing?

No. It's just Dorn has talked about wanting to do a Worf show. I really don't see it happening. Though I really want to see Worf again at some point and partially because I want to see what makeup they use. If Worf ever shows up not having his proper ridges their will be riots in the streets.

TrekCore is posting HD comparisons on facebook, I assume twitter as well

I always did wonder why they slopped so much dark paint on Damar's neck in the final episodes.

Poked around the AMC website. Documentary isn't even showing in my area.

It's funny, I never notice that kind of detail until someone points it out.

I notice some details but I got to say this was the first time I noticed this one. Perhaps he was getting Kanar poisoning for all that drinking he was doing and that is a side effect.

Well, I seem to remember that Kanar is an alcoholic beverage that goes bad after a time.

Ahhhhhh! I can't wait to see it, and to see DS9 scenes on the big screen!

I would think so. When Damar splashes some of it on his mirror it looks like thick syrup. It seems Damar and Kanar aren't a good match.

Is there any information about it being available to stream at some point?

At ds9documentary.com you can join a mailing list to be notified when the film's available for purchase, but it doesn't say anything about streaming possibilities.

That said, I'm pretty sure it's going to be available digitally in the future.

I'm hoping once it is avaliable to stream that the early streamers will be able to get it. When I signed up for the streaming option, that's what I thought I was getting, a digital copy of the documentary. I should have read the finer print. Oh well. I've seen it and it was good. If the Sharks weren't playing tomorrow night, I probably would go see it in the theater but alas.

Was it just me, or did the entire series have a weird glow / haze in pretty much every episode of every scene? The eyes kind of get used to it, but it's still weird. Someone back me up on this please. Can't wait to see the HD.

Coming late to the party: do we know if this is going to end up on On Demand or some other streaming service eventually?

(It's not playing in my city, but is showing a few towns over. Debating whether to try seeing it tonight.)

Howdy Greg!

As I said previously... :p

For my money it's very much worth seeing (especially on the big screen) if possible. Not sure how much time/miles "a few towns over" is. I took time off work and drove 6+ hours, then took a train into NYC to see it, but that was the premiere. And they showed it on a Sunday night that time.
