what's your local weather?

That's only the western half. The eastern half is farmland or marshland. Texas is a very big place. You could fit 10 European countries in Texas and still have room left over. So saying Texas is mostly desert is like saying, "Well Spain is pretty dry, so most of Europe must be desert." Houston averages about 49/50 inches of rain in a year.

Wow. That really does put it into perspective! Parents went to San Antonio in March. They originally planned to go on to houston but found plenty to keep them occupied in San Ant. They really loved it!

Eta: snow this morning but warming and sunny now. About 50 out.

I'm scared. It's in the upper 50s F right now and sunny. I hope it doesn't get too warm today. I'm hoping to go out tonight and I'd at least like to leave my house in a sweatshirt.

When we were driving to Minnesota's Largest Candy Store on Saturday it started raining on the way. We didn't know it was supposed to rain. I said, "Fuckin' Chinese butterflies!" My housemate didn't get it.

I think I'll start blaming the Chinese butterflies every time we have inclement weather.
