omg... my first croissant adventure
it smells like croissant, it looks like croissant and it taste like croissant... i guess it's croissants
(to be honest, they are just a tiny little bit "heavy", i should have proofing them an extra hour, its a bit chilly.
But im happy, and they are flaky:) waiting for my youngest son to arrive =)

^^ Mmmmm....

I went to a friend's outdoor movie night last night. The movie was horrible, but visiting with her and a couple of other people for the first time in a long time was really fun. :)

She even said I seemed happier than the last time she saw me. :)

Those look wonderful!

@Scribble am so glad you enjoyed your impromptu evening!

These croissants are straight!!!
Lol yes:) i read somewhere that the straight ones are made with butter
and crescent-shaped are made with margarine (?)
That sounds strange to me.... true, mine are with butter, but i simply didnt bother to curve them:hugegrin:

These croissants look yummy, regardless of their s.. err.. axial orientation :D

Congrats @Velocity ! I've gained a few lbs again lately but nevertheless I now weigh 25 lbs less than 2 years ago when I was first diagnosed with type 2 =)

Good things today: I received a book written by a friend. Can't wait till after work to start reading.

There's just one problem. "Croissant" is French for "crescent"... So a croissant who's not crescent-shaped is a little bit of a contradiction in terms...;)
