Spoilers Midnight's Edge has Picard "spoilers"

Yes, yes, I know, they're trash. But they're claiming in their live stream on right now that Picard will be running Section 31 in the new series.

Given they literally reported the show was facing the axe only yesterday, they're probably lying. But an interesting lie none-the-less.

 

End of season one we figure out that it's been Shinzon from an alt future all along, and that's how it seems like he lost all his morals.

 

Well bless their hearts.

 

It's true but it's shame Picard will have to go by the name Jean Luk Pecard due to rights issue with CBS and copyright laws.

Has anyone noticed that MIdnight Edge sounds like a flat -earther concept. Let's go out to the edge of earth at midnight and prove we are right. I think I might be understanding them better.

Last I heard from them, the project was likely to be cancelled before it started filming... oh, and Discovery want going to get a third season.

Mind you, I only get this from the titles of their videos that sometimes appear in a Google search of "Star Trek news". I never actually watched any of the videos. Even before I'd heard anything about them, I recognised the style of a clickbait headline.

 

Midnight's edge also said disco ratings were so bad it would be canceled early.

 

I watched a couple of videos and was immediately suspicious, since there were no sources given. It's kind of disturbing that people believe stuff even though no evidence whatsoever is given.

 

I don't understand what they're all about. A group of people who bad mouth a show they claim they don't like? Who has time for that? Who are they trying to convince and for what purpose? I often wondered, had their been an internet in the 60's, what they would have said about TOS. Those people are so awful and mean. They seem to all say Discovery is a bad show and if you don't realize it, that's because you're not as smart as we are. Meanwhile, they've seen every episode and have all this insider information. Whatever.

 

I can't believe t hese losers are still around. Get a life, guys

 

I think it's their jobs. That's why there is so much of this crap on Youtube. People are making some bread,cheddar,mulah,cash, cha-ching,coin,doe,profit and money off this stuff.

I was going to say that it's delicious irony that Midnight's Edge declared the Picard series delayed a single day before the series started filming, but then there's this comment posted to the video:

Midnight's Edge is quite literally creating an alternate history of contemporary Trek production running alongside the real world, and for reams of followers it's the true history.

Also, why do so many commenters on their videos write with the random capitalization, clipped syntax, and schoolyard tenor of certain presidential tweets? It's bizarre.

 

Whatever Midnight's Edge says about the Picard Series, it's the opposite. Whatever Midnight's Edge says about anything, it's the opposite.

Again, it's all made up stories and clickbait nonsense they use to make YouTube money. They don't deserve the attention this thread is giving them.

Section 31 needs to just fade into the background and disappear. It was probably the biggest error DS9 made, and I say that as a hardcore Niner.

 

Amazing. This is the same kind of behavior you see in conspiracy theorists when one of the "truths" they are allegedly privy to is contradicted. "It doesn't matter because reasons, and I am so in the know, this complete 180 doesn't even phase me."

Honestly, if you are the kind of person who sees this kind of nonsense and still repeats Midnight Edge's clickbait as if it were some sort of reliable, trustworthy source?
