Geez, it seems like you were offended I had the audacity to seek out information.
 Oh, lord, no, I wasn't offended that you asked. That's ridiculous. It's actually cool that you did.

It's just that I don't see how it was sad that you got that response (you said "sadly, this all that I got from the WGA..."), and nor was it odd that it seemed like a form response. The unsad part of it was that a person read your question and replied with pertinent info in a timely fashion. Selecting among pre-approved responses to similar types of already asked questions is just the way corporations roll, as most of us know, I'm sure.

Just a lighthearted post while we are waiting for the awesome Axanar Epic to be released.

Pulled out some old notes. Just research with my thoughts about what I called "social currency might be like"
Back then my online social life was Yahoo, Pogo, my Space where you always found these poster "better than thou" types and positive supportive social posters. Always made me wonder if somebody in their mother's basement kept score.
If this Cyber God liked your overall posts maybe good things happened to you. Perhaps they allow you to win a lotto, a credit card fee to good to pass up, Your home is included to a special tax and utility free zone. All of a sudden your timing was perfect no matter what you did.
If the Cyber God didn't like the things you posted a tax audit comes in the mail, your stock holdings all take a nosedive.a toll gate goes up outside your driveway Without rhyme or reason you always find yourself on the wrong end of everything.
It might have been 3-4 years ago Facebook had this thing where they pigeonholed you politically. I logged onto it surprised that they added up all my contents and scored me highly Republican. So how did they come up with that when I find a lot of fault with both major parties?
So,Is Big Brother Blind?
It was good for a laugh and "If you watch hard enough for anything, you'll find it everywhere" ( possible moral of the story)
I thought about it again today, wondered if it would be a good fictional short story and so I googled the subject and came up with an article that started like this:
"In 2020, China will fully roll out its controversial social credit score. Under the system, both financial behaviors like “frivolous spending” and bad behaviors like lighting up in smoke-free zones can result in stiff consequences. Penalties include loss of employment and educational opportunities, as well as transportation restrictions. Those with high scores get perks, like discounts on utility bills and faster application processes to travel abroad."

NOW WHERE IS OUR MOVIE?

The Chinese scenario is truly chilling. And what happens when (because you know it will at some point in time) they decide doing X was wrong on Monday, but then it's okay on Tuesday, and praiseworthy on Wednesday? You can pull people up or grind them into dust on a whim.

We've always been at war with Eastasia.

Of all the reboots perhaps 1984 should be next.

Meanwhile, back in Axa Land...

Today's AxaMonitor Daily asks whether Alec Peters is serious about suing former friend and Axanar director
Robert Meyer Burnett: Why is his lawsuit seemingly dead in the water, and why won't his lawyer (apparently on a leave of absence) reply to Burnett's attorney? Also, we preview a trove of documents AxaMonitor has just obtained demonstrating the internal strife Peters has created among his once-loyal team. Read more »

Coming soon to a neighborhood near you. Don't want to go all Black Mirror on ya, but hey. ;)

So, AP made big noise about some stuff and spent some money, then nothing happened?

I feel like I've heard this before. :techman:

So could this possibly be the beginning of the downward spiral we've all be expecting?

On AxaMonitor: Lawyer Decries Defamation as Questions Multiply in Alec Peters' Lawsuit Against Former Axanar Director

We teased the story on Sunday. Now, here are the full details on the letter from Robert Meyer Burnett's attorney trying to resolve the legal conflict over Axanar. Peters calls the attempt "absurd bullshit." Read the full letter, too. Learn more »

This is an expanded story that first appeared in AxaMonitor Daily.

Garth's Quarters have been assembled at the studio by volunteers:
https://fanfilmfactor.com/2019/04/1...s-in-ares-studios-interview-with-alec-peters/

Some highlights:
  • Ares Digotal 3.0 is delayed so they can improve the User Experience
  • The Captain's Quarters do not appear in the current script but may appear in a dvd bonus
  • No current start date for filming revealed
  • Patreon is at just over 50% of monthly target but there are concerns how that will look 10 or 20 years out...
