Say something positive about your least favorite Trek movie.

It has some good character moments and nice interaction between Kirk, Spock and McCoy.

Peter Weller for into darkness
Actually the casting in general for jjtrek ,i think each cast member made the characters their own version while being respectful of the original

The score and the campfire scene in TFF is decent and some of the humor and interplay between the big three.

80% of the rest of it is pure garbage, acting, story, sets, visuals, the lot. I never even liked the 'I need my pain' bit that everyone seemed to enjoy.

If we're just talking TOS films...TVH was funny and hit the right comedy marks.

For TNG films, see my previous comment about INS

For Kelvin films, I guess STID is a nice looking movie in 4K.

I din't vomit in the theater like everyone else. jk

Actually I think it looks cool when Picard rams the Enterprise into Shinzon's ship.

Jerry Goldsmith reprising "The Enterprise" during the refit of the Enterprise-E at the end of Nemesis was a nice callback to my favorite film (TMP) and was really the only sense of closure I got outta the whole trainwreck of a film.

Well, it was also nice to see Riker and Troi FINALLY get married. :)

I don't like any scene at all in TFF with the exception of the shot of Enterprise in Earth orbit with the Moon behind, which only lasts a few seconds and is mercifully free of dialogue.

It was pretty.

Yeah, that was a good view. The special effects in that movie are atrocious, a travesty of the Star Trek films (hell, the original special effects of the original series looked better).

But that was one shot they got right in that film---if Shatner ever got his wish for a budget to redo the effects that shot would probably be the only original shot from TFF I'd keep in a revised version.

I also like Jerry Goldsmith's music, especially when they are approaching the center of the galaxy and going down to the planet.

There's that final shot of the enterprise im orbit with the klingon ship that looks good too but the rest want binning.
