Those who predicted Michael as the Red Angel (me included) demand a recount, though I suspect the cookies are already gone.

As we try to sort out the story that will unfold next week, I'd just like to share a head-slapping realization I just had. It's more about Discovery's fate than the Red Angel, but since they seem to be part of the same plot, I figure I'll share it here.

So, in retrospect, Chabon dropped a massive clue about how Discovery becomes Zora way back on November 8, 2018. From Syfy:

Chabon: "[Discovery/Zora] had a lot of time on her hands and went through many incarnations. She may have had a male persona and a female persona and all kinds of persona. She also consumes massive amounts of media. Every film ever made. I mean, a starship like that could have a media library representing the cultural output of hundreds of civilizations over tens of thousands of years."

You mean like a media library from a 100,000 year old Sphere? The answer we basically had confirmed in 2x13 was sitting there before the season even started. I don't recall anyone bringing this quote in as evidence after 2x04 aired though.

Anyway, back to your regularly scheduled speculation. I just thought it was funny how differently these things look in retrospect.

It’s Future Guy

No, its Future Man.
