Official Avengers 4 Anticipation Thread

Sad to see

Shuri in the dusted group. Yeah, I know, we saw her face on the screen in the trailer, but I was still holding on to hope considering Scott was also on the screen marked as missing (along with Peter who they wouldn't know about until Tony returned). I was really hoping she would take on the mantle of Black Panther after T'Challa's dusting.

Is vision the only one who has no poster?

Vision is there

Intermissions were common in the days of regular double features (so, likely to the late 50s) and for epic-length films (Spartacus, Lawrence of Arabia and others). I suspect, though, they were vestiges of theatre and orchestral presentations than endemic to films themselves (as well as an opportunity for smokers to "refill" at good profit for the cinema owner). Many of the epic films of the day had some great music during intermission (as well as overtures--Spartacus and Lawrence ran to several minutes of musical overture before the film properly began--Ben-Hur as well, IIRC).

182 minutes. No liquids for me for at least an hour before the movie starts. I'll buy a big giant lemonade to drink during the movie. It has to be lemonade because I can't stand flat soda.

no drinks for at least an hour before the movie and a mandatory trip to the restroom during previews whether I feel I need to go at the moment or not.

The dusted and non dusted all in one place:

As for intermissions, I half remember the third Pirates film having one and I would need to make sure my glucose levels are ok throughout, don't want the toilet or worse my CGMS going off with a hypo.

New featurette (no new footage, just a few brief interviews about the Avengers' mindset):

I found in the Netherlands it’s pretty much standard even for regular movies apparently? Or the theater I go to is weird.

First off.... WTF..... You're Dutch too??? I did not know that. :D

I've never seen it happen here even once.

Most big chain theaters in the Netherlands have intermissions these days. Used to hate them. Love them now!! My beer is gone by the time it starts, and it needs to get out of me in a hurry!

So, not only did Valkerye survive, I asume her having a poster means she's in Endgame, right?? YAY!!!!

No, German. But I live close to the border and go to Nijmegen on occasion.

Which chains are these so I can avoid them?

Personally I've never seen it happen at Pathe or Vue. I'm not sure what other chains are out there.

I know it from Vue Nijmegen. Might be at the discretion of individual theaters.
I can sort of understand it for overly long movies, this happened most recently in Captain Marvel, though...

Really? Pathe is the first cinema I ever went to that had a intermisson, and Vue over here does it as well. I'm actually quite happy about it. Especially with the Marvel movies. Halfway through, little break, me and my MCU-geek I always watch these movies with geek out over stuff that happened sofar.
