I can't speak to the accusations, but my single contact with him was after I wrote something critical about a Continues episode and Vic complained to Jimm Johnson (of Starship Exeter)... as if he were my dad.

I'll probably get it at some point. For all the wrath they get, I've enjoyed the other books. I wish someone would do a legit version that takes as comprehensive an approach as these claim to. Every time I pick up the About Time reference books about Doctor Who, I shake my head that no one has done this with Star Trek.

To be fair, to do it properly takes a lot of time. But even if you did it in a hurry it’s possible to do a much better and more accurate job just by not treating all sources as equal and understanding that memory<schedule<production report. Oh and labeling supposition as just that.

Other guest performers include Adam Nimoy, reading the quotes and letters of his father, Leonard; Chris Doohan (Scotty on "Star Trek Continues), reading the quotes from his father, James; Rod Roddenberry, son of Star Trek creator/producer Gene; and other Star Trek alumni, such as DC Fontana, reading her own memos from 1966-67. Part 1 comprises the first 18 chapters of the Season One book (ie. 13h 58m of a total 28 hours) via streaming audio.

Look at how many tomes he’s created and you can see he’s not Trek focused. Also, the speed at which he churns them out and the padding suggests he’s not spending great amounts of time on them.

He may 'dig it', but how much can he realistically expect to make from self publishing these books? I imagine he makes more from his 'day job'.
