april-ish: storm, sleet, sun, rain, snow. Apart from a thunderstorm and hail we've had every single sort of weather since breakfast. But it's only lunchtime here...
42°F, stagnant air, 100% humidity (as evidenced by the fog outside), drizzle. It's been raining or drizzling pretty much the entire last couple of days. Yesterday my driveway and sidewalks were almost pure ice sheets.
I am afraid we're not done with rain yet. According to weather forecasting wizardry, there are still three or four days of wetness before we see the SUN!!!
Thanks, both of you. *hugs We're okay. The storms passed a few miles to our south. Lovely green skies, though.
So glad to hear that. Am in Michigan. Green skies frequently seem to be associated with tornadoes here. Or at least seem tornado adjacent. Hugs right back atcha J.
You be safe. Michigan's getting some strong weather, too. I do love tornadoes, though. I mean, not that I want anyone harmed, just I love the tornadoes themselves. I remember going stormchasing with friends way back when I was in high school. We'd get a massive storm one Saturday morning, and off we'd go into the countryside, hoping to snag us a picture of something awesome.
The closest I've ever been to one is when it landed in a field next to my cousin's house. It couldn't have been more than a hundred yards away. We saw it coming and took pictures. Unfortunately, it was a film camera (digital cameras weren't yet common), and the film was ruined by the water that got into it.
Fortunately, we don't have Tornados in my region. But we do get pretty strong storms. I love those =) Today is rainy but at least it rains a few degrees warmer than yesterday.
Started to cool off a little last night after three days of rain. Guess what? Snow. It didn't stick. I guess only a little fell and it all melted into the moisture already on the ground. It's nice and sunny out there this morning.
