'The Cage' era ceiling pattern

I've been noticing that Discovery's bridge dome has the same basic pattern as 'The Cage' briefing room ceiling and Pike's quarters ceiling. Coincidentally, at the same time, the BBS ads were showing me a diamond ring circa 1820 with virtually the same pattern:

I was looking at the chairs on that site and that's why the BBS ads turned up the ring....it's on the same site.

The ring is 7 grand.
