It still is, as it refers to actions that haven't yet occurred to anyone who haven't played up to that point yet. Since this game is highly character-based, including motivations for such and such a thing, I consider them spoilers.

Nearly 40% of the way thru. My partner 60%. First game we've had that we've both latched onto. I loved GTAV but it wasn't her cup of tea.

Easily the most beautiful game I've ever played. The amount of detail put into every aspect of the game is staggering. There's always a ? popping up or a side mission that loses you for hours before tending to a main story mission. My MO is to keep Dutch waiting as long as possible. Once I've done everything else, then I'll see what the hell he wants.

Yeah, same here! Dutch can keep waiting all he wants! I love doing the stranger missions. New ones always seem to pop up when you finish one, especially around Saint-Denis. They're always so varied and most of them have multiple parts.

Nope, but I've shot the guy looking for him at least 4 times.

My favourites are just the ones that have Arthur having fun, even if said fun involves a brawl. Charles Chatenay, the toy boat mission, helping out the photographer guy, Hamish...

So, here's my Arthur. Anyone else want to post theirs? I really like the hair growth feature of this game as it really makes a difference in how he looks over time. Handlebar mustache with swept-back hair, and wearing The Gambler outfit.

it absolutely is not, what is is clunky (in a lot of ways, clunky in the sense of it being a deliberate design decision)

I got to play this on the pro recently and Rockstar should have been hauled over the coals for the mess hdr and 4k checkerboard is in, it is the pooest attempt at both, i mean God of war was stunning with both these on the pro, just stunning, but on this game you have to switch hdr off because is not only does not work but makes the game look colourless and blurry, and the 4k checkerboard is the worst i have seen on a pro enhanced game yet, how did Rockstar get away with this?

Spent most of the game pretty rough looking.

So, this is a list of my recent offenses in this game.
    • Kicked innocent man in face, burned his body in campfire, stole all his supplies (and hat), and slept in his tent
    • Blew up own horse with dynamite while opening a safe
    • Accidentally let new horse get hit by train while paying off a bounty
    • Accidentally blew away postal clerk after paying bounty; resulting in new bounty and inability to pay it off due to dead postal clerk
    • Turned self in to Strawberry Sheriff's office, then stole officer's money clip
    • Got new horse stuck under a dock while approaching New Denis
    • Caused two cowboys to ram into each other and then ram into an approaching wagon
    • Paid off bounty in Strawberry then accidentally ran over two people with horse

You have no idea! I will say, a lot of my initial bounties (which are still active) started by my accidentally firing off my weapon when trying to interact with someone. So, on the entire west side of the map, I'm wanted Dead or Alive, but as you move east, the bounties become less and less, which means I was starting to get a better handle on the controls. So the map basically is a visual record of my historical control struggles.

I will admit that I didn't play the first Red Dead Redemption, so, I was unfamiliar with bounties and committing crimes. Wasn't sure if they came after you for doing terrible things. So, when I got RDR2, I wanted to see what I was allowed to do in this open world. The first thing I did once I was set loose was locate a train. I saw I was able to board it while riding alongside. I made it up to the front car where the conductor was. I shot him and threw him off and, to my astonishment, I was able to drive the train myself. I was so excited! After about two minutes, it prompts me, CRIME REPORTED - implicating me as the suspect.

And I just sat there going, "Oh. I stole a train, didn't I? That's sort of a crime."

It's actually kind of fun to see the many ways you can trigger offenses. Some are more obvious than others, but other times the line is not so well drawn. It's actually a far better system in this game than it was in the first game. In the first game, if you shot at anything while out in the wilderness, even if there were no people nearby, the animals would be witnesses and your crimes would be reported, which made the hunting challenges so much more difficult than they needed to be.

One of the things I really miss over the first game is the ability to just ride a train. In the first game, you could just ride them forever if you wanted to, but here they act more similarly to the stage coaches; in other words, you buy your ticket and get immediately taken to your destination with time elapsing like sleeping. In the original game, you also had an option with stagecoaches to either travel there in real-time to get taken there directly, something which they have changed this time around. It kind of makes those modes of transportation less exciting, and with RDR2's scenery being as beautiful as it is, I kind of want those long train rides.

So you're saying, if I committed a crime out in the woods, a bunny would report me to the local police?
