what's your local weather?

Sunny and a couple degrees above freezing. It’s supposed to get up to a high of 5 C.

This is just a brief respite, though. Unlike the locations where people are proclaiming that winter is dead, ours will be back starting tomorrow night.

Starting back up a bit earlier for us starting tonight, and it brings with it the bonus of freezing rain! Yeah, so totally done with Winter at this point. This month we already got double the average we normally get for the month. It just hasn't seemed to let up. We had a house in our city with a roof that collapsed due to the weight of the snow, and in another northern city a few hours north of us, the city's civic centre's/auditorium roof collapsed, again due to the weight of the snow.

40 miles north of Chicago, just this minute, thunder, lightning & rain....@ 37°F.

It's rare to get t-storms at this temperature.

Then tomorrow, possibly more snow.

That's terrible. I hope no one was hurt.

If we had a groundhog she would definitely NOT have seen its shadow... Still one more week of Spring in the offing!!

We have one in the general area. It said “early spring”. I suspect groundhogs may be pathological liars.

Today: windy. Very windy. Supposed to still be very windy when the snow starts later today, so that will be fun.

All night I could hear my house struggling against the wind. It was kind of eerie.

We've had far stronger winds, but I think that with the added weight of the snow on my roof it was having a harder time than usual.

Let's hope it's just a feeling.
