Sounds like some possible time travel involved. Deadlus class ships are suppose to be further in the past and One is about memory as in remembering something from the past. Also what denotes the passage of time more than infinity? Granted that might also be them just planning on doing a Buzz Lightyear crossover. I think this sketchy evidence is all we need to know. Red Angels are time travelers!

For those a little wary on clicking TrekToday links, here are the titles:

  • Episode 207: Light and Shadows (February 28)
  • Episode 208: If Memory Serves (March 7)
  • Episode 209: Project Daedalus (March 14)
  • Episode 210: The Red Angel (March 21)
  • Episode 211: Perpetual Infinity (March 28)
There are three more titles unrevealed (4/4-11/4-18/4).

Enterprise had an episode named Daedalus, which had nothing to do with the Daedalus class, and I suspect the same to be true for Project Daedalus. Although, Discovery is so full of canon references, I wouldn't put it past them.

^ I don't think Project Daedalus is referring directly to the Daedalus class ships; more likely Daedalus as in the farther of Icarus? Didn't he build like a maze or something..

I'm kind of disappointing there isn't a run-on sentence episode title this season.

Three more chances. Maybe the finale will provide us with a lengthy poetic monologue. Something like:

We Are Not Enemies, But Friends. We Must Not Be Enemies. Though Passion May Have Strained, It Must Not Break Our Bonds of Affection. The Mystic Chords of Memory Will Swell When Again Touched, As Surely They Will Be, By the Better Angels of Our Nature.

Daedalus is the guy who created wings out of wax and feathers to be able to fly off the island of Crete to escape from King Minos who he pizzed off.
(a labyrinth, Theseus and the Minotaur were also involved in this convoluted tale)

Told his son (Icarus) not to fly up near the Sun (will melt the wax) or too close to the ocean (will get the feathers wet), which of course Icarus totally ignored...
He died by drowning.

Dad goes on to the island of Sicily and builds a Temple to Apollo (who had wings on his hat?)

"Perpetual Infinity" sounds really cool (and reminded me of the final chapter name of the unmade Half-Life 2: Episode Three "Infinite Finality"), but the rest aren't long and pretentious enough. 2/5.

Yeah, I probably got them mixed up.
Apollo is the Sun God, so I seems to remember him have wings in some depictions.
Though they could have been on his hat not his feet.
Hermes has wings on his hat, his shoes and his staff. Might be a fetish.
