Spoilers Name the [spoiler] ship!

F. King Daniel

Fleet Admiral

Ships need names. The only other Section 31 ship we've seen was the USS Vengeance from Star Trek Into Darkness, which was designed and presumably named by Khan.

What would you call Disco's Section 31 ship?

If Georgiou gets her way, I can see it being called USS Cheron. Or perhaps the recent-ish trademarks are an indication, and the name is Destiny or Reliant?

The SSS Control, of course. Tyler already told us so much.

(I mean, he called Control, and Leland responded from aboard the ship. But previously, Leland had said that Control valued Tyler's skill set, so he's not it.)

Didn't know the Gestapo's ship was called Control. I assumed that was somebody Leyland answered to.

Anyway that's enough from me. Comparing any part of the Federation with fascism is bound to make some fans a bit Führerous!

Oh, I don't really believe myself. Like, ever.

But Control is something other than Leland, yet Leland speaks for Control, and Tyler attempting to reach Control involves him calling the ship. So if not the ship, Control might be an abstract organizational level, a bit above Leland.

But Control might also be Cornwell.

The problem with that is NCC-1864 is already up and about in a few years time on TOS. Hard to imagine it being Reliant if it gets renamed, or the UFP having two different Reliants at the same time.

They can put USS Secret on hull, then cross out Secret and write Not so right above it

Oh, they just, uh, refit this one so that it will look exactly like Khan's ship when needed. Because Prime. If you squint, you can already see it, sort of. And of course 1864 is an obvious S31 reference. Did you really think the Union won on its own? Or that Booth did it?

I wouldn't mind seeing a DISCOfied Miranda, especially from this era. The earliest Miranda shown is the Bozeman, so far and obviously its just the usual Reliant model. So yeah.. I guess it could be, albeit a vastly different bridge post-refit, and the Romulan-camo thingy no longer on board.
