The general shape and layout reminds me of one of John Eaves' alternate design sketches for the Enterprise-E.

I should be thanking you! A lot! You have posted a treasure trove of ships that I didn't even know existed, and even managed to post images of one that I've had very little luck of finding close up views.

And I'm very glad I could help. I'm sure it must feel pretty good, getting introduced to ships that you didn't even know existed. I'm certainly loving it.:D

And I'd appreciate if you can get any more information on the Explorer/Chimera, especially if there are any more images I haven't already seen.

Oddly enough, there is a very similar design intended to be the Zodiac-class, one of six designs proposed on the ASDB site, but the final design was never chosen before activity ceased.

To be honest, I never did like the look of the flipped pylons and nacelles. It just looks awkward to me, and I wouldn't have changed the way the pylons were mounted.

I didn't give my two cents about any of the other ships, specifically the ones I've never seen before, because it would take me hours to do so, so I'm only going to do one at a time per post instead. First the Invincible.

To me, this looks like she started out as a dreadnought version of the Sovereign class, but started to evolve into her own thing.

She reminds me a little of the Intimidator-class Dreadnaught:

The surface detail around the dish is really great. They weren't afraid of flat structures then--shades of Mies van der Rohe

Hi all, I am requesting any information/pictures/blueprints/schematics/scribbles-on-a-napkin of the main bridge onboard the USS ENTERPRISE, NCC-1701-F (Odyssey Class), a non-canon Star Trek starship from the massively multiplayer online role-playing game: Star Trek Online. I've searched like mad, but I can't find anything showing the bridge's scale, dimensions, layout, etc. If some artistic soul has created an ENTERPRISE-F multi-level bridge layout, even without a scale, I would love to see it. Merry Christmas!

Thomas's last name is Marrone, not Marroni. An honest mistake for sure.

It should also be noted that while this Miranda variant was modeled by Thomas, it was designed by STO's concept artist, Hector Ortiz.

I know all this because Thomas is my boss and sits at the cube next to mine ;)
