Clark Gregg is supposedly in it, but his character originated in the films, so I guess that doesn’t count.

Oh, this is the first time I've seen a rumor that even he's in it. He's better than nothing but it would be nice to get the whole crew.

Rumors and speculation are all I’ve got. No official confirmation, and no reports of him being spotted on set.

It’s amazing how well they’re keeping information about this film under wraps.

Underwhelmed by the Super Bowl commercial...but it was news to me that they pulled back the opening date again this year to last week in April.

Man..Marvel won't let DC even get April!!!

You're luck they didn't push it to August. (Gotta use that "A")

Upon subsequent viewings, that opening shot on the poster with the support meeting in the background reminded me of The Leftovers. I hope the film touches on the level of trauma and grief like The Leftovers did.

I'm not surprised considering they did the same thing for Infinity War.

Yeah, it reminded me of The Leftovers also. I was half way expecting to see Justin Theroux in the it.

The shot of the Statue of Liberty surrounded by docked ships had a very unsettling vibe followed by the mist shrouded shot of the city. I get the feeling that New York is a refugee city with all the survivors getting as close to major cities as possible either to survive or just be near other survivors.

Probably most Major cities are like that now, and those metropolis' would need all the people they could get to keep the infrastructure from falling apart. The survivors probably thought it was the Rapture or something.

If I were Kevin Feige, I'd probably ask for "Avengers: Endgame" to open with "Adagio for Strings" by Samuel Barber (FYI, if you don't know what that piece is, it was used for great effect in "Platoon.") showing how the world has completely gone to h-e-double hockeystick after Thanos's snap.

Barber's piece has become so associated with Platoon (and arguably gained a new life because of it--far beyond any other public use of the piece, including its broadcasts associated with the deaths of U.S. Presidents) , that it would take viewers out of the scene. The film's composer should do something original, or the director(s) should choose no music for the opening.

That Barber piece was recently used in an episode of a show i watch but I'm totally blanking on what show it was. I remember that some of the people commenting on it said it took them out of the episode because it made them think of Platoon.

I'd so watch that. 4 Chrises in one movie? (Evans, Pine, Hemsworth, & Pratt). I think the universe might just implode.

Joe Russo says that the three-hour runtime is testing well.

“I think the studio is down with what the best story is. Right now, we think the movie is playing well and we’ve had great responses from our test audiences and we’re feeling very good about where it is. We’re still doing work to it. We’re not done with it. Again, this is a culmination film of 22 movies, it’s a lot of storytelling to work into it. Emotion is an intrinsic part of that to us. When you have to tell a really complicated story and you want strong emotional moments with the characters, it just requires a certain amount of real estate. This one, in particular, feels like three hours worth of real estate.”
I really hope they stick to that cut because, as Russo says, there's a lot of ground to cover for the culmination of 22 movies.

The movie is going to have a lot of ground to cover, and it's nice to see Marvel is willing to give the time to cover it.
The Superbowl spot wasn't quite what I was expecting, but it did give a nice feel of what the tone is going to be.

The Lord of the Rings films were 3+ hours in theaters and they did just fine.

More than just fine but were smashing box office successes. Marvel has an even bigger built-in audience and they know it. Fans will come and watch it even when it's long.
