The Man Trap? New room is the Life Sciences, Botany Section where Gertrude/Beauregard resides. (There are so many new rooms throughout the series, so, I picked one of the earliest one-off rooms. New rooms at the end of series would be rarer, so maybe I'll bounce back and forth: old to new to old to new, etc. My luck, it will in the middle most episode. This assumes the new room is even on the Enterprise and not on a planet someplace.)

I think your false clue might be from "Cheers". I rewatched them last year and I think Cliffy says something like that on a game show.
