Received my copy in the mail today
I can't find a thread for the book, so I'll just put this here.
Star Trek.com has posted a short interview with Una McCormack about her Tilly centric Discovery novel, The Way to The Stars.
For those UK-based and after it, this is the best price I've found:
Discovery - The Way to the Stars - Books Etc - £7.23
Amazon delivered a copy to me today (along with Vol. 2 of Designing Starships).
Is it true that the Akira class isn't in the book?
I just got it today.I got my copy of Una McCormack's Discovery book yesterday in the mail.
Chris mentioned it in a radio interview not long ago, which I transcribed naturally:@8of5 also posted a blurb for The Captain's Oath (did we know it was a Kirk prequel?)
Excited for this one, as I have enjoyed all John's books so far, but mostly because I love Captain Pike, will be great to get to spend some time on the Disco version of his Enterprise!...and uncovered the fifth Discovery novel (it's about Pike's Enterprise during Discovery season one, by John Jackson Miller)
On the ones marketed as The Original Series, of course. Discovery novels, when they eventually deviate from generic cast photos, will surely use the Disco version. At least they are still using the proper version of the Enterprise on the novels.
Good thing I don’t judge books by their covers, because I find both of those, quite frankly, terrible. I’ve seen better covers on self-published Kindle books. Maybe these will look better as a 1-inch thumbnail on Amazon. For everyone's view:
