I find the wipes to be pretty bad for my skin. I have to use them to some degree because I too have to cake on my makeup. For taking it off I first use Ponds+makeup wipes, to get the bulk of it off. Then I go over my whole face with micellar water on cotton pads. It gets rid of the leftover oily feeling from the Ponds and takes off a ton of residual makeup. It’s also a lot nicer on my skin. Then I wash it all off with water and a cleanser. I’d highly recommend trying micellar water.
Coconut oil is great for a lot of things (aside from cooking) I put it on my hair occasionally (my hair is curly and tends toward dry). It also has anti-microbial properties that can help keep skin and hair healthy. I don't wear makeup, but I've used both coconut oil and olive oil on my face in the winter for extra moisture and both work very well. I even found a an olive oil facial cleanser that's the bomb. interesting. I've never heard of this (going to look it up)... (edit #2: ah, I see... it has a surfactant in it to enhance removal of debris.)
I hear you. I never had kids but i had a kidney stone one time and the pain from it was about the same as menstral cramps. I went to the ER though for the kidney stone because it wasn't my usual cramp time and it was in the wrong place.
I had such unfortunate luck last night ... I started spotting, so I texted my fiance to come over after he gets off work (around 10). Well at about 9 pm I started pretty heavy suddenly, it's not fair I only had 26 days this month.
^ I usually get a pretty regular 30-33 days cycle but at times my cycles get more frequent and it’s not very fun when that happens. I’m happier the few times it drags out to around 40 days.
My lo-estren birth control is a seasonal pill. I only get my period 4 times a year. I know it’s not for everyone but it makes my life a lot easier. My time of the month can be brutal.
Oh wow, 40 days??? Most months I'm very regularly 28 days. This month's been really bad, I've been feeling sick for two days, I was really nauseated yesterday and this morning. I've been bleeding like crazy, I don't remember last time I was this heavy.
I don't have fond memories of the pill. I took it for three years and I regret it. I stopped taking it. Two or three years later I gained a lot of additional weight without eating much. Hormones interfered with my weight and I'm pissed. No pills at the moment.
Not really. But I have to check my thyroid. It influences the whole body function process. My weight stagnates, but I don't look fit despite healthy food and workouts. Maybe it's just the winter blues.
I’m having my laparoscopy and leep procedures on Friday. I’m super nervous, anyone has any advice, please send it my way!!
Thank you! I’m gonna try my best. Luckily I’ll have my husband and my mom there with me. I’ve never gone under the knife. Hopefully it goes well!
started at 51 for me; I was thrilled. I had a giant period that landed me in the er - I was having chest pains and thought it was a heart attack- it was low iron and other such stuff. A blood transfusion later I went home and had irregular periods for another six months and now only have occasional spotting. Feel awful for people who have difficult cycles.
Found out at 42 I was 1/3 of the way through menopause. Me: "What???" Done by 44. Best gift ever. Bye bye periods and supplies.
I envy you! I'd love to wear silk undies but nature still plays the occasional trick on me (usually at the worst of times). At work, I carry my camera in a little case that has a compartment for batteries. Much to my (male) colleagues' amusement the loops for the batteries are filled with a row of tampons
