Apparently Voyager forum got upset I said Seven of Nine isnt really hot/attractive and Kira is hot

Lets face it. seven equals annoying. If Seven just smiled and said nothing then I may go out with her in public but as soon as she began speaking I'd feel embarrassed.

Kira is hot and got the best personality out of any female character in all of ST. She is literally the bomb (no pun intended). She knows how to be strong, get aggressive when its necessary, shut Quark up in the perfect way, but also soften up and love when necessary.

She was really sweet with Odo but the right man she'd show love but also some agreesive love and excitement as well.

Anyone else agree Kira is the bomb. I know I shouldnt be saying this considered I'm married to a blonde/blue eyed girl sort of like Seven but much hotter, but I do love Kira's short hair, amazing temper and personality.. Its hot. Seven is just a horrible and terrible version of the Doctor and Tuvok

No one got upset with you. I gave you advice as a mod that your pattern of posting since returning here after ten years has been a bunch of provocative posts about how Trek fans annoy you, the shows annoy you, the characters annoy you, etc. and that it seems obvious that you're looking to get a negative response. Which is not a good idea if you plan to remain here for long this time. This current thread is more evidence of the same with the misleading and provocative title which makes it obvious you're trying to cause problems.

its not misleading and I have the right to make threads that criticize some aspects of the show. Not every thread should kiss ass about everything trek.

Its especially more difficult to make a thread saying Seven of nine sucks compared to saying Neelix sucks.

Whats crazy is that if I was on Voyager, Neelix would be my main man and so would chakotay and maybe a little of Paris, where as Belanna would be ridiculously annoying the first 2-3 seasons and Seven of nine always being so tense, strict, nervous, and serious would get annoying. Id take over the doctor as the person who would teach her how to be a cool ass girl

Of course you can criticize the shows or the characters. I'm just talking about making first impressions. You came here, all full of piss and vinegar, and made your first thread about how Trek fans annoy you... on a Trek forum. It's not even that all of your points are wrong, it's just that smugly swaggering your way into the forum and saying "You all suck!" is not a good way of getting people to want to listen to what you have to say from then on.

Then you went into the Voyager forum and said "Seven is a terrible character!" Which is a perfectly valid opinion that you're entitled to, but is a provocative first impression obviously designed to rile a lot of people up for someone who just started out in the Voyager forum. You could have made the exact same point by mentioning which characters are your favorites and which ones you found to be disappointing in a reasonable way.

Then you came over here thinking you could provoke some kind of cross-forum disagreement or whatever your thought process was by saying "The Voyager forum is pissed because I said Seven's bad, but Kira's hot!" and posted a "Which character I'd like to fuck" thread in GenTrek like a twelve-year-old, but you obviously can't be a twelve-year-old because you were briefly here a decade ago, which just makes this sad.

You're perfectly entitled to be critical of characters or shows or even the behavior of fans, but it's just about the way you're establishing yourself and your reputation here, and so far it's not a good look. Maybe try and tone it down a bit and look around before posting like you're shot out of a cannon.

I'd rather talk about how dedicated Nana Visitor was to the part, how she cultivated it, how she carried the first season, and how she became the focal point for the cast. I'd rather talk about how the writers allowed Kira to be complex, to remain the fighter until the end,while becoming both spiritual and sensual in the process.

No, I think we are getting this right. You are minimizing Jeri Ryan's work by crediting her popularity to being blonde and blue eyed. I am promoting Nana Visitor by pointing out her dedication and talent.
