P.I. Card. He'll be a private investigator now. And he hands out calling cards with his head on them.
Because that puts all the focus on the Hobus event, and I don't think it's meant to play that big a role.
I like "Stargazer" as the title. They should probably avoid using "Star Trek" in front of all these streaming spinoff shows on CBSAA. It might lead to fatigue and confusion.
Your likely right. Although I can see it being called "aftermath" if it has a dual meaning. i.e maybe part of the story also deals with the "aftermath "of something personal or character specific to Picard. Of course this is just wild guesswork on my part.
It's confirmed! https://www.google.com/search?q=CBS+Confirms+title+of+next+Star+Trek+show&kgmid=/g/11b_035tty&kponly Spoiler: Spoiler No it hasn't, but Google doesn't lie, does it?
Star Trek - The adventures of Locutus of Borg Star Trek - The retired generation (on Risa) Star Trek - Picard crest (a la Falcon Crest style, Picard retires to his vineyard)
Calling it TNG would lead people to expect a full-scale TNG revival, with the whole cast reunited back aboard the Enterprise. By all indications, that's not what this show is.
True. In the other shows usually it's more than just one character. I didn't think that was likely, more throwing it out there. I figure it's probably one of the trademarked names. I have a sneaky feeling it's Star Trek: Destiny, not really because of David Mack's novel trilogy (though I'd love to see that on screen--that would be epic) but because it makes some sort of sense for some reason based on the little tidbits they've said (which is probably why it won't be that, but I digress).
Nothing will be cooler than The Picard Show, but now we know a little about the plot, I wonder if it may be called Hobus.
