Yes, Netflix Disk is still a thing. Its inventory is not exactly the same as its streaming selections, though; each service has things the other doesn't.
Netflix Canada never mailed discs. It’s always been a streaming service. We had a mail service years ago but it went belly up a long time ago.
You also have to pay for it separately from the streaming service. I cancelled my subscription to the disc service earlier this year after I got tired of almost all of the discs I got being so badly damaged they were unwatchable. I couldn't finish 3 out of the last 4 movies/TV shows I got because they were so badly damaged they froze or skipped scenes part way through.
That's one of the fears of why I never used it. Granted it's been awhile since I even rented movies. For awhile I was using the Red Boxes but now everything is online. Jason
Yeah, I don't do Red Box either, because I figure I'll run into the same problem. If they aren't streaming free anywhere, I just rent or buy the digital versions on Amazon now.
So I finally looked up the comic version Cicada. I guess the piece of the S.T.A.R. Labs satellite being in the shape of a lightning bolt is meant to be a reference to the comic version of the character being struck by lightning.
You'd think with all the mother issues she would just call herself Nora Allen. Taking both names will just get very messy a few generations down the line. You'll get that name from Family Guy that takes a minute and a half to say.
CW Released an extended trailer for the back half of the season today. I've been excited about this since that cliffhanger before the crossover. I think the last time I was this excited for The Flash was that summer when I was watching Season 1 and got to the episode where the Tsunami was about to hit Central City. Season 5 has been excellent so I hope the writers can stick the landing, unlike last year where coming back from the winter hiatus hurt the show.
That's a really good trailer. It really hints at some great character arcs for the second half of this season.
The reason why I said it was an extended trailer from the season and not next week was because someone commented on reddit saying that one of the producers said this was for the next few episodes. It took too long to link to it at the time https://twitter.com/sterlinggates/status/1082909287754559489
Exactly, and he uses gold for paradimensional currency exchange. In fact, I bet that he plays the indexes and stock markets across the multiverse. He buys gold cheap on Earth 62 and then sells it on Earth 38 for 1000s of times its original value. I don't know if it is Netflix or Amazon but at least one of the services allows you to pay for the season (or buy episode) and watch as it is released.
It's Amazon, you don't buy stuff on Netflix. Netflix does have the past seasons of all of the Arrowverse shows, and thanks to a special deal with The CW they add the most recent season a week after the finale airs.
