Because there's only one episode left, I'm going to finish out the season, but I now have zero interest in the endgame because there's no-one left who is actually worthy of winning.

Well, that's that. The only person I thought worthy of winning was just voted out. Hopefully they bring him back in some future season.

I disagree with you guys Christian was the only one worthy of winning. He was in the lead but he made a huge mistake that alienated too many allies, he deserved to lose for that if he couldn't re-sell them on loyalty.

I think Nick, Davie or Mike would all make very worthy winners.

In a way Christian did win. Who do you think has the best chance to appear in a veteran season? And assuming there's a fan vote prize, who do you think wins it?

It's nice that Christian feels positively about his experience. Yes, I hope he gets to come back and he should win the fan vote prize, if there is one.

None of the remaining players have played a "winning" game, and one of them should not even be allowed to appear on the reunion show.

Are we watching the same show? Davie and Nick are equally to credit as Christian for beating the 7-5 Goliath majority. Both have been smart with advantages and made big moves. Mike has played a more subtle social game, but he's never once been in danger and he's been the deciding factor in a few of the big votes, he's the one who eliminated the obvious threat.

Ugh I hate that Christian is gone, but I still think Mike would be a good winner.

Yeah, I guess Mike is my new horse. Or maybe Angelina. What? Why is everyone looking at me like that?

Now that Christian is gone, I'm hoping for a Davie win. I can't remember if they've mentioned this on the actual show, but he actually wasn't supposed to be on this season. Someone else dropped out last minute, after they had already been flown out to Fiji. They called Davie up in the middle of the night, just a day or two before the season started filming and asked him to fill in, and he immediately dropped everything and flew out there! In his pre-season interviews he said that he felt like he was more willing to take big risks in the game because he feels like it's a bonus that he's out there at all. I think that's shown in the way that he's played.

Besides Davie, I would be happy with Nick or Allison winning. Mike would be okay, but there's something about the way he's played that doesn't sit well with me. I don't really want Angelina to win, and I would be most disappointed if Kara won. She's done basically nothing to deserve it, and has kind of annoyed me as a character on the show.

I agree, Angelina winning would suck but it would be better than Cara winning. Angelina was at least proactive. She tried a lot of things, they just mostly didn't work and she couldn't control her attitude. But I have trouble seeing either Angelina or Cara winning against any of the other four. It's almost certainly not going to be a bitter jury.

I've felt for a while the final three was going to be Angelina, Kara and the winner. Seeming more and more that way.

I was pleased with the winner tonight! And cautiously optimistic about next season's theme.

Meh on the winner. I'm pleased to see that Joe is coming back next season.

I'm not a fan of the 'Some veterans' seasons. I like the no veterans and all veterans season, but when there are only a few, they start with an unfair advantage and steal the spotlight.

I like that somebody finally called out that women don't get credit in the game but I wish somebody would call it out in a season with a more worthy woman than Angelina.

The 'Edge of extinction' theme seems some updated version of Exile island with a different mechanism.

I was happy with the winner.

Given that I didn't really care about the Final 6 at all, the finale and reunion were actually quite enjoyable, although Angelina finding an Idol was BS.

Of the Final 3, I would have preferred that Mike win because he impressed me more than Nick, but I'm so glad that nobody on the jury bought Angelina's crap and shut her out of the votes completely.

I've read spoilers about Edge of Extinction and consequently have a little bit of an idea as to what to expect come February, but what I'm really excited about is seeing Aubry again and am hoping that "the third time is the charm" for her in winning since she really deserves to.

They also start with an automatic target on their backs, with the attitude of "you played before, go away".

I liked Joe as a player, and he's certainly easy on the eyes (a totally sexist comment and I don't apologize for it at all ;)).

They do start with targets but also everybody is usually star struck enough to want to ally with them. Even Coach made it to the finals and might have won were it not for a clever “Coach was my young girl” comment,

I don't remember that. Mind you, there was one of his seasons I didn't see, so that may have been when it happened.

Funny thing about him... he was so obnoxious in one season, yet I ended up sort of liking him in a later season.
