There are many shows I have never watched in my life and probably never will. I came to this realization after posting in the ABC reviving NYPD Blue thread. Never watched it. Others include: Friends - Fraiser - ER - GOT - Everybody Loves Raymond - Any type of sitcom on network TV really - Big Bang Theory - Survivor - NCIS - Will And Grace - America's Got Talent - The Voice - Diff'rent Strokes - 3rd Rock From the Sun - How I Met Your Mother These are just a few. I'd like to hear from others about what shows you've never seen that everyone else has.
Never watched NYPD more than a few times. Never watched The Walking Dead besides 1-2 episodes, Never seen Game of Thrones or Sons of Archery. I would suggest watching Frasier as it's one of the best sitcoms ever, also Third Rock from the Sun is worthy a watch.
Lots more but these ones come to mind. Orphan Black Breaking Bad Dexter Girls The Walking Dead Lost Homeland The X Files Friends Arrested Development Seinfeld Fraiser Scandal The West Wing
Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, The Shield, OZ, The West Wing, Sons of Anarchy, Modern Family, This Is Us, House of Cards, The Blacklist, and almost every popular reality TV show you can think of.
Lots and lots and potentially even more now I seem to have gone off a lot of TV drama. Examples of probably worthwhile stuff that I'll never get around to seeing: Breaking Bad Broadchurch (UK or US) Orphan Black The Shield The Supranos The West Wing The Wire Stuff that I'm probably better off for not watching: Big Brother (any version) Geordie Shore I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here Made In Chelsea Made In Essex The Apprentice (UK or US) The Real Housewives Of Cheshire
For those who've never watched Orphan Black, I'd highly recommend it. Tatiana Maslaney is a powerhouse of an actress. I don't want to spoil anything but it's smart, funny, dark, empowering and emotional. Back on topic, I've never seen Black Mirror, Lost In Space 2018, V (Original series), Blake's 7, Rick And Morty, Vikings, House Of Cards, Narcos, How To Get Away With Murder, and The Sopranos to name a few.
Former series: Seinfeld Frasier Two and a Half Men LOST Revenge Scandal The Good Wife Current series: The Walking Dead American Horror Story Mom The Big Bang Theory
I forgot about LOST. That was another popular one that I never watched. I've only watched the first season of The Walking Dead. My wife likes American Horror Story. I watched not even ten minutes of one season (Hotel I think), and vowed to never watch it again. It amazed me what you can get away with on cable TV. The show seemed to try-hard for me; it's like lets see how edgy we can be. Not interested.
I started watching The Wire about three weeks ago, and it's SO DAMN GOOD! I've got two episodes left on season three. You also can't go wrong with The Sopranos or Breaking Bad (Better Call Saul is amazing too)!
The Wire Serpranos Breaking Bad Man in a High Castle Basically anything that is really critically acclaimed.
Waay back, the Dukes of Hazzard was fantastic when those too good ol'boys took their bow and arrow kits out of the back seat of the General Lee, and saved the day. Recently I rewatched the pilot. Bo and Luke were on parole. That's the only reason that they didn't have rifles in the back of their racist car. Sad.
Along similar lines, how about shows that we wished we haven't seen. Personally that would be The Shield for me. I don't know what it was about it, but I kept coming back to it to see what the fuss was about it and by then it was all available so I could binge it. It was kind of addictive in wanting to see how it developed, and admittedly it was well-acted. But it was such a violent show. Mind you, I haven't minded the violence in Breaking Bad, because at least the writing there helped offset the brutality of some of what was going on. By the end of it, I was feeling like I had wasted my time.
Tried Breaking Bad and found it dull. I can't stand The Thing's acting so I won't watch The Shield. I keep meaning to watch The Sopranos but never have. Didn't watch The Wire either. Never watched The Big Bang Theory or Modern Family.
