^^ Hi @Bah Humbug , that image appears to be hot linked from another forum. Just to check, do you own that forum? If not, I’ll have to convert the image to a link. Thanks.
Sorry. Fixed.^^ Hi @Bah Humbug , that image appears to be hot linked from another forum. Just to check, do you own that forum? If not, I’ll have to convert the image to a link. Thanks.
No one gets in trouble over it here unless they ignore repeated requests to stop, which no one does. It's a courtesy to the owners of the websites the images are hosted on, because when you hotlink images from sites that don't allow it you're sapping their bandwidth. It costs them money, and if you're a smaller website it can cost you too much to continue paying for hosting. It's amazing the troubles we can get into these days for a simple image!
Preventing hotlinking has absolutely nothing to do with Google censoring image content on the boards in order for us to maintain advertising that keeps the board running. Two separate issues.^ It's gotten a lot worse since Google inexplicably acquired the ability to tell us, on this board, what kind of images we are allowed to post.
A immersion blender and/or a rolling pin might perhaps work. Or a pepper mill.Buying two bags of coffee beans on special offer and realising that it’s ground coffee you needed, because the grinder went to silicone heaven years ago and the pestle and mortar that would the job instead is in a box somewhere.
I have a rolling pin. I will dig out. Not sure if it’s the I use for rolling clay. It’ll do, either way.A immersion blender and/or a rolling pin might perhaps work. Or a pepper mill.
When people are asked to pick ONE thing (favorite book, movie, etc.) and go on to list more than one!aaargh!!
Surely you had an argh!-moment, too, today. Share and vent with us!
In the market I encountered 3 people with eye-searing awfully neon coloured sports shoes within 20 seconds. (Plus an ad for said shoes here on the BBS just now.) I think I'll have to make an appointment with my eye-doc as that colour almost rendered me blind.
Is this the newest fashion? (Nooo! Please!!!!) It's almost worse than those horrible baggy pants.

Too many horror stories to share...Insurance companies.![]()
Dumb horror movies.
I just watched the movie Green Room with Patrick Stewart. It was awful. So many plot holes.
1. There’s no way there’s seven 20 some year olds in a room with ONE cell phone. No way.
2. I would have stayed locked in that room until my family realized I wasn’t answering my phone.
3. No fucking way I would give a Bonehead* my gun.
4. They were on the bill, obviously if they go missing they’re gonna question the super sketchy Bonehead venue they played at.
5. The owner of the venue could have gotten away with all of it if they just called the cops in the first place and blamed the first girl’s death on the band, who had just locked themselves in a room with a hostage and an unregistered gun. 15 minutes in, problem solved, movies over.
*Used “Bonehead” (slang term) because I didn’t want to trigger anyone or vear on anything political in here. Erring on the side of caution!
