Who would you like to play Stan Lee when they make a movie about his life?

Now that the Great Stan Lee has passed I imagine Hollywood will eventually make a movie about him. Granted I might be wrong because I am still waiting for the big Roddenberry movie and Rod Sterling one as well. Still I think these will happen someday as will a Stan Lee, movie. I can think of a few names.

1 Keeping it in the Marvel family I kind of like the idea of Robert Downey Jr. I think he could really bring out the salesmen in him and now that he is older and in a better place in his life I think the kindness as well.

2 Matthew McConaughey=If he could nail the accent I think he would do a good job.

3 Sam Rockwell=After thinking about it I think he would be my first choice. Is their anything he can't do as a actor? Your also keeping in the Marvel family as well with him which is a nice bonus.

I don't think Robert Downey Jr. would have the right head-shape. (I'd actually prefer to see Downey in that Rod Serling biopic you mentioned.) Maybe Sam Rockwell. My initial gut instinct was Dan Stevens. But the fact of the matter is that Stan Lee had such a distinctive voice and I can't think of anyone else who sounds that distinctive or can convey such warmth with such a gravelly voice.

I would hope for a movie that cover his entire life. I just thought of someone. How about Hugh Jackman. The guy is capable of doing more than just being the Wolverine. I was also thinking of Bradley Cooper.

Considering how the Freddie movie had to tip toe around the real story I would hate to see what Hollywood would do with Stan Lee; a man who who by his admission was more than happy "to take any credit that wasn't nailed down."

I don't think the creative choices of one tricky biographical film (and I think a large part of that is the band members direct involvement) will inherently inform how this film could potentially be made.

I agree that Lee's story is a complicated one, but if Cranston were involved with the film, I can see it having the nuance it deserves. Look no further than to how he produced Trumbo and All the Way.
