News New Season 2 Commercial

Nothing wrong with the TV Spot per se, but the difference between it and a full-blown trailer really stands out.

I'm liking the tiny taste of Peck as Spock. And Mount looks great. Hope the season's as good as it looks.

Cool... but somehow I got it in my head that it was going to premier on the 19th of January.
:brickwall:

Why doesn't Burnham just run 'sideways' away from the falling building behind her??
(I know, I know, DRAH-MA)

That's what I thought too. But then I remember someone saying something a little while ago about how, with the European way of dating, the premiere was 17/01.

The door in spock’s room is very Intrepid class style. (Also neck pinch)

Also there seems to be a new room or just a wall change on the left by spore chair room on discovery

I think I saw Linus on the bridge in one scene. That is an interesting makeup. I hope he is a semi-regular character.

Old Vulcan Lady in TMP, referring to the yet unknown V’Ger: it stirs your human half, Spock...

Spock (internal monologue) you don’t know the half of it, sister. Back in the day I was flashing smiles left right and centre...

"Spock, is that a smile I see on your face?"

I'm pretty sure that's the joke;)
Was "The Cage" supposed to take place before or after DIS? Because I can absolutely seen them having a finale where Spock gets fully emotionalised for a short period of time from the red angels, which then directly leads to "The Cage", and thus retroactively gives a reason for why he was so emotional there. But still aknowledges even Pike knows him as the cold, logical Spock we normally know otherwise.

I guess it depends on who is doing the supposing. Current readership of Memory Alpha would have "The Cage" first, what with our TOS dating being on a relatively firm footing and Spock in "The Menagerie" specifying that the Talos adventure happened 13 years prior to the retelling. The very latest for "The Cage" would then be 2256 or so, to allow for two more seasons of TOS before the five-year mission ends in 2270.

If DSC writers want it otherwise, then DSC is NOT teh PRIME! and all that. Or at least I can't see a way around the current chronology.
