News Next Arrowverse Crossover to Include Batwoman

Obviously its because of the Gotham TV show and the forthcoming Matthew Vaughan directed film. Once Gotham is over though, there's no reason why he couldn't appear. Perhaps next year's crossover (if it happens) could be Batwoman trying to find Batman and needing help from Arrow, Flash, Supergirl and possibly the Legends?

Maybe Batman is sipping lattes in Florence with Selina. :p

It would be interesting for arrowverse Batman to leave like nolans Batman

But things don’t stay peacefully like Nolan’s world after Bruce leave

Things get worse and certain citizens of Gotham rise to become Batman like Kate Kane

It always sucks that Batman has to leave. Twice now on essential the same network. Birds of prey and now here

It ruins his image. The guy lives and breaths Gotham and he leaves?

I guess I can see the logic behind it, though. With Supergirl, they were able to put her in a different city, so Superman could still be around, just off doing his own thing (although it did raise questions when really big, worldwide crises were involved). There's enough precedent in the comics for Supergirl operating outside of Metropolis and independently of Superman. But Batwoman operates in Gotham City, so she'd be overshadowed if Batman were still around.

We're a week behind here in the Uk and last night's episode of Arrow was 'The Demon' in it
Talia references being in prison because she ran into 'an old foe' in Gotham. I wonder who she could mean if not Batman? Also this was the second Gotham reference in a week as it was name checked in The Flash episode 'All Doll'd Up'
. Also I wonder what happened to Batman's sidekicks?

Well Batman on Earth 1 has supposedly been missing for years, but on Earth 38 many references have been made to his still being active and friends with Clark.

I have been wondering if they will address that. There have been references to Gotham and/or Bruce Wayne on Earth 1 and 38. Which ever Earth Batwoman is from some of characters will know of the other one. I have suspected for awhile part of the What ifs of the Elseworlds premise is to explain that on one Earth Batman maybe be missing but on another he is fully active.

Imagine Welling doing a cameo as Oliver queen of another earth and Rosenbaum as yep you guessed it....

The flash

Lol

He’d be no stranger to it but the fandoms would explode

Welling is old enough now to play an older (Silver Age Earth 2) aged Superman. It would be great if the Arrowverse introduced an old WWII style JSA IMO. (Well I guess they already have in Legends.)

At least the weirdness of the Aquaman pilot, vs Smallville Green Arrow, is finally explained ;)
