Series 11 News & Spoilers

There was the vague reference to the child of time or whatever, and the Stenza cropping up more than once, but other than that you're right, it'd have to be really subtle.

I don't know, some parts of Cumbria/Wales/Scotland might pass in a pinch.

I've always wanted to see an adventure where the Doctor is actually up against a past/future version of him/herself, but the older version doesn't remember those events (hence why they could end up on different sides). The finale could be an opportunity to give us that, if the Doctor forgot an adventure - since this series has been showing her "no-one is 100% right or wrong" aspects, she might very well try to help an alien species against human interlopers one visit, and take the human side the next, depending which angle she's exposed to first - only figuring it out later, but in this case slowed down by the need to deal with the machinations of the very clever person leading the other side...

Timeless Child, which I'm thinking might just be something that never gets a follow up, like the War Minister in season 9.

I guarantee that's not happening in the finale.

That I’d like to see/hear, a proper broad doctor, like. You’re probably right though, and if she is metering the accent, it’s bound to sound off.
Sean Bean does it, too. Pronouncing H's in a Posh Telephone Voice instead of dropping them like an ott spud. :)

Very glad we're getting a series next year. I just hope they improve and take the goodwill of this series to the next level, story-wise.

That said, I somehow doubt Chibnall leaving after his second series. Maybe after a third. But either way, I hope we finally get a Doctor who stays for a while. I'd love for a five-year Doctor like Tennant was.

Chibnail leaving would be the best thing to happen to the franchise since its return. A burned out Moffat was still better then an unambitious, lazy writer like Chibnail. Its like he took the absolute worst parts of the early 3rd Doctor era, mixed it with his near total lack of writing ability, and hired almost exclusively terrible writers to help execute his plan to make the most mediocre show humanly possible. Even as someone who hated the Clara era more then words can express, I've never been so uninterested in Doctor Who as I am now. Its like we're getting 12 episodes in a row that are all The Power of Three, without the likable cast or interesting bits (but with added botched attempts at being "relevant").

I'd rather have 12 Love & Monsters in a row, since its at least an interesting kind of terrible. As opposed to this series, where I can legitimately barely remember an episode after watching it (I seriously didn't even remember that The Tsuranga Conundrum existed until I looked up episode stuff today, I think I even forgot to post about it at the time because it just left my brain immediately after finishing).

As for Series 12, while I'll keep watching the show, at this point I no longer give a crap about how often it airs. As long as Chibnail is on the show, it can air as often as Sherlock for all I care, at least then I just have to resist falling into a coma for 6-ish hours ever few years.

I can't wait till RTD is gone with his gay agenda and soapy shit.
Moffat too complicated and sexist. Moffat Out!...
Wait I mean Chibnall is boring and a terrible write. Get rid of him!

Fans are the fucking worst.

It's more honest than "I love everything they do" because....well, just because. Rose colored glasses and all.

S11 is different, maybe too much so. Good stories, good cast, not so much on the action and monsters I really do like to see from DW.

I've been watching for 40 years and I'll keep watching. Even bad Who is better than 95% of the crap that's out there, but I'm not going to say all Who is great. There's always room for improvement.
