We all know the big moments...seeing the NX-01 for the first time, Shran's introduction, the Xindi weapon exploding.

But ENTERPRISE has its own fair share of great little moments during its run. Seconds that bring joy, tears, and laughter to all of us who have seen the episodes again and again.

What are your favorites? I will begin.

"DEAD STOP" - At the very end, the pieces of the station are trying to rebuild itself. I loved that. It had a creepy feel, and it felt like a horror scene coming to life. As a fan of horror, it spoke to me, as this entire episode did.

    Great thread topic!

I find something to like in every episode. Granted, some episodes make this difficult *cough*TATV*cough*...

So in the otherwise dopey "Precious Cargo," Archer and T'Pol scam the alien cargo guy Plinn by having T'Pol pose as a "judicial administrator," swathed in Vulcan robes, with Archer bowing and scraping to her and the two of them scaring the crap out of the poor guy to get him to spill some info.

Archer: Her punishments can be severe... we're down to a crew of 76.
T'Pol: Does your culture observe any postmortem rituals?

A wonderful scene that not only is hilarious, but also shows that T'Pol has loosened up quite a bit (for a Vulcan) and she and Archer have become a great team.

One of the best things about ENT for me were little character moments like this.

The view out Archer's New York window in "Shockwave". Before Star Trek Into Darkness gave us a proper look at Trek's future Earth, those flying cars and skyscrapers were tantalising.

We also saw ground cars in a deleted scene of "The Expanse"

    ARCHER: .... One more thing.
(Archer picks up a wooden, brass-bound box from his desk.)
ARCHER: It's your first official day of duty, Commander T'Pol. A present. It's from the early twentieth century. Should help keep you pointed in the right direction.
    (It's a ship's compass.)

ARCHER: I'm glad you're with us.

    T'POL: Thank you, Captain.

^^ I added ".jpg" to each url, that seems to have done the trick. :)

Great moment. I really enjoyed watching their trust and friendship develop over the course of the show.

Another moment that never gets old for me: the opening of "Babel One," with Hoshi teaching Archer to insult like a Tellarite. :guffaw: Shows the wonderful camaraderie between them, and how much Hoshi has grown since her scaredy-cat beginnings in space.

Particularly, for me, Trip's reaction to it.

Breaking the Ice: After Dr. Phlox suggests to T'Pol talk her arranged marriage problem with someone who she would feel comfortable to talk with, T'Pol invited Trip to her quarter. Not she feel this way, but she won't confide her situation not another further person.
    Trip says:
"You want to talk to me? Well, uhmm, I'm not sure I'm going to be much help. I mean, I've only been in three relationships and they all went bust.

At that moment for a second, he let his shields down. His cracking voice and his facial expression tell enough. And I thought for the first time, he is not maybe the lightheartedly superficial redneck guy, that I supposed to.

"Silent Enemy" has a few memorable bits, but the conversation between Trip and Archer in Engineering - about leaving Earth before they were ready and real hardship faced by NASA on their way to the Moon - stands out.

"FIGHT OR FLIGHT" - When Hishi just conversates with the alien over the speaker, and just keeps going. She saved the day. It was a great confidence builder for her character, and I was glad they started the first episode after the pilot with what many might consider a secondary lead character. Communications is a MAJOR function, for... well, anything and everything. When I first saw this when it originally aired, I was impressed that the writers seemed to have that in mind by starting the series showcasing the communications officer.

HahA! Yeah, Reed had a really lecherous expression. Maybe it wasn't even acting.

    - Any scene in "Carbon Creek" with Mestral. One of my favorite Vulcans.

    - Any scene in ALL episodes with Admiral Forrest. Vaughn Armstrong is my favorite actor of all time, and Forrest is my favorite Trek role that he played. Heck, even his mirror counterpart was cool - while "Maximilian" :D was more of a hardass, like you'd expect from an Imperial officer, he died sacrificing himself to save others, just like his regular universe counterpart. In the MU, that's a rare thing indeed!

    - The bit in "United" where Shran is preparing to fight one of the Tellarites and Archer invokes his right to substitute himself instead. Shran says "I'd have to kill you. You're my friend." I just thought that was really nice to hear, especially given how Shran and Archer first met. Shran and Archer's friendship was one of my favorite bits about ENT. They started off as bitter enemies, and now they're best buds. How cool is that? :techman:

    - The opening credits of "In a Mirror, Darkly."

I believe Domonic Keating's persuasions lie in a different direction... but you never know. She does have a nice bum.

"MARAUDERS" - When the guy misses every shot in the training, Hoshi goes up and tells him what to do and shows it by hitting the target each time.

    Go Hoshi!
