One definite cameo: Gates McFadden as Dr Beverly Crusher, because of obvious reasons: She's Picard's soul mate as stated in the novels and in "All Good Things" (although admittedly they're not together in the latter)

As for Wesley...He'd still be roaming the galaxy as The Traveller for all I know :guffaw::guffaw::guffaw:

    And there he should stay.

Wasn't that the TNG crew by Insurrection, anyways?

In this series Wesley takes the role of Q and compels Picard to begin yet another trial of humanity.

Wesley was back in Starfleet by 2379 and had apparently left The Traveler judging by his officer's dress uniform at Troi and Riker's wedding in Nemesis. That's not to say he doesn't eventually return to exploring the universe with The Traveler by 2399 but we know that at some point between TNG Season 7 and the last of the Picard-era movies he returned to Starfleet and was commissioned as a full officer.

All to the good if you ask me. People who've lived things rather than people who are more theorising .
No cheap gimmicks either, just tons of solid character development.

Age is no guarantee of that.

My other question is, will the current iteration of the Starship Enterprise at that time (end of 24th century) shows up in this show? Say, Enterprise E or F? Or it will be a period without an Enterprise? Like the 22 years between C & D?

The E will definitely be around unless Picard lost another one. Seems too early for the F.
I just want to see the Aventine on screen.

I suspect the Enterprise-E will still be in service, but it will look different like how Pike's Enterprise is different to how it looked in "The Cage" or TOS.

I doubt they will change it much. Unlike the others, John Eaves originally designed it.

Eaves doesn't call the shots. Plus, that was 22 years ago. There's new merchandise to be made, so it will look different.

They’ll be new ships. Don’t need to mess with the classics

An Enterprise F with new crew and a new cap looks good to me.

And Weasley could back as a full of anger villain against JLPicard ...for unknown reasons (nothing that a good, a very good plot could fix) ... see him as a bad guy could be interesting, considering the past they shared.

Think about what you just said.

These are some of the same people who are making Discovery.

That and the Titan. Those two need to be pulled out of soft canon.

Well, the Luna class design is actually owned by CBS so that is actually possible.

The Vesta however isn't owned by CBS, so that is a bit harder.

True but the biggest person that caused the damage, Fuller is gone.
I’m sure they’ll give the E a refit so it looks slightly different; akin to what they did in all the movies but I’m sure they’ll design some new ships as well.
To me as a ship fan, that’s the most exciting part.
