The classic D7 always looks nice, but it's maximum pandering and Spock is a hipster now.

I actually think this is the very best trailer I have EVER seen for any Trek! The music is so effective, so epic, just like the scope, the awesome visuals... I have a feeling that they really listened to the fans (Klingon look for instance, a very welcome change!), and I am confident this season will eclipse anything we’ve ever seen on Trek. Love it!

I'm guessing he was out somewhere where cutting his beard and hair wasn't possible.

Perhaps because of the war, Section-31 came out into the light for awhile, but I would imagine that MU Georgieu will screw that up and they have to pretend that they've gone away after the Season 2 events?
