Who is the best actor to play Lex Luthor ?

Actually he did play lex in another show...for two lines of the Justice League Unlimited episode The Great Brain Robbery. I preferred that performance. Is it okay if i count that?

One more to add to that list: Rainn Wilson. He plays Luthor in The Death of Superman and it's sequel The Reign of the Supermen.

Rosenbaum needs to play a role in the CW Arrowverse. They don't even have to call him Lex. Just bring him over from a parallel Earth, make him play a bald villian with daddy issues (Lex in all but name), and I might start watching the Arrowverse shows again. I'd actually enjoy a Smallville crossover episode - maybe an alternate universe version of Smallville, with better writing.

The way Luke Arnold played Long John Silver in Black Sails has a lot of the qualities I'd like to see in a well played Lex Luthor. Arnold really captured the moral ambiguity of Silver. You never knew if he was a bad guy pretending to be good or vice versa. He was both lovable and scary which is what Silver and Luthor should be, imo.
