I guess it boils down to whether an episode is more about action and adventure or philosophical musing.

"And The Children Shall Lead" is clearly the worst TOS episode just because of the incredibly bad acting and shower-curtain wearing attorney. That was even worse than the acting of Star Wars 1 baby Darth Vader
I admit that....I don't particularly dislike And The Children Shall Lead but I do not exactly like Plato's Stepchildren my dear Commish! ATCSL is not as good as say DOTD or TTW or TEI but it's a steady episode for me!

What usually torpedoes an SF story is that some SF-ignorant goon thinks anything goes, that SF is just wacky stuff in space, and inserts magic into the proceedings. That's when you get appearing and disappearing evil angels that respond to prayers...
I do like the gorgan's line "Death to you all....Death to you all" a bit melodramatic but I like to use it myself from time to time.
Gorgan and Lazarus should be in a duet. Death to you all.....Kill Kill Kill, ..... Death to you all, Kill, Kill, Kill......
Damn, that's probably the lyrics to 50% of the death metal songs out there. We just need Cookie Monster to sing it.

I think it would be OK around here (no guns) and I'm not a particularly threatening looking sort of person but of course no-one would get it.
Went round as a Gorn last year (Gorn mask) and people asked me if I was godzilla.
Not Gornzilla, Commish? Sad to think that so called sci-fi nuts don't know the scariest lizard man ever to grace my TV set!
