Season 2 Speculation Revived

I think Season 2 will have a more spread out focus. Discovery, the Enterprise, the Klingons, and Section 31.

Pure Speculation on my part: I think Pike will give Burnham a chance to shine. That will create some tension between her and Saru and reignite their rivalry. Maybe Pike might prefer her as First Officer over Saru.

An interview with Anthony Rapp at LV Con had him saying that things would be more relaxed....a come-down from the stresses of the war. I just hope things don't devolve into more soap opera than adventure.

As far as I know, Jason Isaacs said after season 1 that he is no longer involved in Discovery. That's a pity I think, would have liked to experience the "original" Gabriel Lorca.

We definitely see it, and see inside of it, at least in the first episode. I suspect they'll just show a few corridor's and spock's quarters. They have room for the TOS bridge if they really want to build it though, with the sarcophagus ship set no longer needed.
