In another thread a while ago, I came up with the idea of having a Captain's Table with Mirror and Prime Lorca, with them telling the same story, but PL telling it for real, and ML bluffing through something he'd read in his counterpart's logs trying not to blow his cover. Sort of a Rashomon thing.

I feel like as a novel it would lose steam, but it could be a good short story if another Tales from the Captain's Table anthology is done.
