I kind of wished though he had been the, two-penis Klingon guy. That's the better story since I don't even recall a weird game in the Orion encampment. I remember the penis's and strippers and the drug dealers. You know a typical Charlie Sheen style memory.

It's worth nothing that not every species would suckle its young so males and females might have no distinguishing features (Rhandarite ), some other features, like crest size, height etc, or they might have no gender at all being either hermaphrodite or reproducing spontaneously (Arcturian ).

Do you mean looping around the shoulder joints, as in "males have five, females have four"?
Or on top of the shoulders, as in "goldshirts have it visible, silvershirts, not so much"?
If the latter, it seems to be largely a matter of viewing angle. Burnham's switch to gold for the final scenes of the final episode means her shoulders have a golden tint to the piping, but not in all angles. Lorca's was mainly visible from the side, or when lit from the side, too. But even the silver version did have grooves on the shoulders; whether there was any color there, it's difficult to tell.
More photos from the second season will probably tell more in this respect.

I think the gold piping on the shoulder pads is for the Captain rank. Seen here with Georgiou, note that she still has detailed panel on the side shoulders, but it's not gold. Lorca also wore this style of uniform:
Then there's Admiral rank which has the gold piping on the shoulder on the top part, but also the sides:
I don't think Burnham's S2 uniform is any different than it was in Season one. Her science division uniform still has the detailed blue piping at the shoulders and elbows like everyone else does. In my opinion, her shoulder appears to be lighter on her right side because of directional lighting, nothing more.

I guess they'll be overdubbing his voice eh? That's basically a mask - it's hard to see what he could do other than open and close his jaw.
Looks flexible to me.
Unless his lips are completely unconstrained inside the jaw (which would show when he opened his mouth) he'd be totally unable to enunciate properly. You can't say the letters b, m, p, or w without your lips. The b and p become a sound like v, m becomes an n, and the w sounds like something close to an h.
As for the rest of the prosthesis, unlike with Saru they have completely covered his eye area and any vestige of his lips. There's nothing he could do in terms of normal human facial expression which would be visible through the makeup - unless it tore the silicone off entirely.
