Why wasn't this the opening theme it's fantastic and done by Peter himself

I don’t know if it was Capaldi but for one episode they changed the Title music to match his guitar play in the teaser.

The theme used during the credit sequence of Before the Flood, although it is meant to be the Doctor performing the theme, was not actually done by Capaldi. Capaldi himself did perform the theme during his Medieval Rock Concert in The Magician's Apprentice.
Awww, I thought he'd be singing it.
I always liked the Rani's tardis.
Who else is that at the table in the back? I'm pretty sure I recognize Colin Baker & Carole Ann Ford but who is the woman on the right? Katy Manning?
