I like that variation on the Romulan emblem! Any reasoning behind the new dark green shapes?

    Thanks!

Thanks! I added the dark green shapes just to add some detail to the symbol. also if you look closely enough it looks like the Romulan raptor (I might change the top portion to better reflect that).

Very very cool! Love you insignias mate!

On a side note: Something I never understood is why the romulan empire has always been portrayed as small when compared to other major races in stellar maps...I mean it has never been stated how large it was, and everyone practically fears or at least worries about them whenever they are mentioned(like the klingons), so logically their presence in the galaxy must be large... they are part of the "big three" in the Alpha-Beta Quadrants.

    Thanks:)

Maps as 2d representations can't accurately show the locations of stars, nebulas, and the borders of major states. However If we think of space as 3d, many of the problems we encounter become solved. I imagine the Romulan empire takes up a more vertical column of space, while arcing over into the Alpha Quadrant.

Here is my United Earth Emblem. I'll try and get some more emblems out before I go on vacation to Florida, including the Andorian, Vulcan and Tellarite symbols.

It would help if we had better info on the stars attributed to the various star nations.
Oh, wait! We do have such info now, via the GAIA DR2 databases!

Example of what can be achieved with said info:

Uniform variant used throughout the 70s and mid 80s of the 22nd century

A uniform variant utilized from 1/8001.20 to 2/0002.06.

A variant of the Starfleet uniform in use from 1/8203.05 to 2/2301.06, the start of a tense cold war between the Klingon Empire and the Federation. It began use on yorktown class starships, exclusively, as a variant of the standard "bluejacket" and eventually supplanted that variant as the uniform used on all starships and starbases by 2/000.
