We could discuss this further in private, if you like. Otherwise, how about keeping to the topic of USA/UK relations ...
Your leaders know their wagon's hitched to a star. Like any marriage, there are problems to be worked out. But as long as the USA has nuclear-armed submarines, no country in its right mind is gonna screw with us. We're the world's cops. We're always there to save the day, when there's natural disasters and the American people are especially generous ... we always have been.
That's rather blunt but I think reflective. I don't think England or Great Britain or the UK or Mother England has always followed the lead of the US, they just did that when the US became more powerful and influential than they are.In America's relationship with Britain, Uncle Sam wears the pants. England has always followed the lead of the U.S. and why shouldn't it do? It's got everything to gain ...
America as the world leader its been since, I don't know .. .forever, I guess.

https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-37762753Yeah, America is especially generous, letting Puerto Rico be a complete shithole post-hurricane while funneling hundreds of millions of dollars to ginned-up immigration stuff.

According to the BBC, the USA is strangely the SECOND most generous country in the world ... but, at least, we're more generous than Australia ... and way more generous than Canada.

The scuttlebutt is that Blair was the most enthusiastic one and was in George's ear pushing for it.Why shouldn't it... Well, maybe to not be pressured into committing to a hugely expensive, poorly planned failure of a war with incoherent goals and based on phony intelligence. That seems like a pretty good reason to me.

I actually don't find most of American values disgusting and have many compatible values with the UK as well. When I scour the world stage there are far worse out there.
Do you know how weird that comes across?? I mean what the hell? You do know your own history, lol. The Empire didn't make itself.Do you have any idea how ashamed many of us are knowing our own leaders followed yours so many times into these disasters?
Other countries which could have been considered world leaders (due to their power) to name just a few
Rome
France
Spain
The UK
Next world leaders are likely to be
China
India
