The French team reminds me of old Brazil a bit. They make some beautiful pass combos.
If someone had told me 25 years ago that I would see my national team at least 3 times in a semi final of the world cup...

I am torn between Brazil and Belgium. France-Brazil is a classic but I would like to see a very francophone match too (sorry flemish people, I don't forget about you

2-0 for Belgium. Brazil better get their act together.
Brazil are being caught out again like in 2014, such naive tactics at times. Belgium may of ridden there luck early on but it was worth the risk because they knew they could smash Brazil on the counter and Brazil fell for it hook line and sinker with that 2nd goal.

I had to switch off the livestream because Brazil's wasting of their chances to score was driving me nuts.
No kidding. I am not surprised that Brazil lost. It's like they knew how to attack but forgot how to actually score. Time after time, they would set things up nicely and then just screw up.
That could change in a few days

Wonder what Blatter thinks of this. He always claimed that european football was on the decline.
I'm a bit disappointed by both results overnight, but no matter. France continue to look ominous, and from what I saw Brazil reverted to headless chicken mode when the chips were down. Two really talented sides but only one delivered.
Oh, well. A Belgium - Croatia final would be fun, I reckon.

That would be great, but of course it won't happen. Daddy will tell Junior that it's all someone else's fault and he can keep doing whatever he likes. It's worked so far, after all - I read somewhere the other day that when a coach tried to haul a teenaged Neymar back into line, he was sacked the next day and Neymar went on his merry way. When someone is that overindulged they're not likely to be able to grasp concepts like "actions have consequences".
