Chadbon has repeatedly reprised his role on Blake's 7 for Big Finish but hasn't played Duggan again. I think there's a rights issue.

Not when the Doctor is operating one, then there's nothing "simply" about it.
Gods, I always forget how phallic the eponymous creature is. 
The book includes a phrase along the lines of
"Duggan was just realising that the police box was much bigger inside than it had any right to be when he spotted that the Doctor had a robot dog, which was obviously the best thing ever, and the only thing that mattered."
Can't really remember the episode - something an intelligent cactus. Do remember that I never finished the novelisation (which was also the case the for the leisure hive) - think there was a major WTF factor for those eps.

Yup, but as a religious fanatic, belonging to a society controlling cult that worshiped an artifact of alien technology shaped like a dodecahedron (12 sided die) believing it to be a gift from their deities.
To be fair, that's the best kind of society controlling cult!

Honestly, I don't think you missed much. I found the two last serials to be pretty good but the stuff before that was rather meh. Oh, and Adric. I see why people don't like him.I missed Season 18 unfortunately but after catching only one for each of the first three, I've managed to catch a total of 11 Fourth Doctor serials, so that's progress I guess.
I've missed the last couple of days, but I know there wasn't much, although I love Warrior's Gate. Did the marathon get that far?
The main "villain" in The Lodger was supposed to have been Meglos. But for whatever reason, it didn't happen.
Honestly, you didn't miss anything. Creature is the weakest story of that season, and is never, ever refered to again, so whatever.
That’s the only one I saw. I know all the stories...target novels ftw. But this is only time I have seen some of them. The costumes are rather impressive.
