Just to read some of the details of each of the cast members' lives is, to quote Spock, "Fascinating". I mean....Doohan survives World War 2, Takei is interned in Manzanar, Nichols meets MLK, etc. etc. And then fate brings them together for one of the most groundbreaking Sci-Fi television shows in history. Wow!

Well, my understanding was that Nichols met MLK after the first season of ST. And he encouraged her to continue, when she wanted to quit.

Doohan didn't just survive WWII; he survived D-Day. Albeit short one finger, something shots on Star Trek were framed to make as inconspicuous as possible (I never noticed until I had the privilege of meeting him in person.)

But to return to the matter at hand, it seems a bit thin, especially for the price, and yet I may buy it anyway. For myself.

Ummm... Takei was not at Manzanar. He was in a different camp.

And lots of people survived D Day, including my father, who also in the Battle of the Bulge.

People today talk of football stars, musicians, olympians as heroes.
People who put their life on the line for their country are heroes, Doohan and your father.
To see someone on the TV screen playing a hero who is actually a hero is WOW (IMO).

Finally found this today!
