Spoilers DC's Legends of Tomorrow - Season 3

Hmm. Every season since the first has had its own buzzword for the category of things the Legends deal with. It was aberrations in season 2, anachronisms in season 3, and now Fugitives in season 4.

No love for Wally in that synopsis? Dammit Barry, it's your fault!

They didn't mention Amaya either, though it's been reported that she's still in the cast.

Sara and Constantine are joined by compassionate inventor Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh), hotheaded ex-con Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell), rebellious totem-bearer Zari (Tala Ashe), and heartbroken historian-turned-superhero Nate (Nick Zano) as they set out to save the world – and their legacy.

This reminds me from last season, in which the CW publicists forgot to mention Maisie Richardon-Sellers. Now, they managed to forget both her and Keiynan Lonsdale. It's very annoying.

She has? I know I am missing something with that response.

Jason

In the comics, Batwoman has dealt with evil cults, human sacrifices, shape-changers, vampires, etc.

Granted, her current storyline is more about a global criminal conspiracy, but many of the early Batwoman stories had supernatural elements.

Which doesn't necessarily mean anything. The early publicity for season 3 omitted Amaya, but she ended up being included.
I think the consistency of the omission might suggest that it was done purposefully which is not necessarily to say with bad intent. What else do we have between seasons but idle observations? :)

Maybe it just means his contract paperwork hasn't been resolved as quickly as the others'. There's always a lot of business stuff behind the scenes that we never hear about.

I dunno, have lives?

Man, Wally just can't seem to find a gig and stick with it. If he ends everything so quickly, it's no wonder he can't keep a girlfriend...

Well, not being a regular doesn't mean he won't have a big part in season 4. Just consider Jes Macallan was not a regular in season 3, yet she was in 13 out of 18 episodes, not to mention that her presence was felt even in those episodes where she didn't appear on-screen.

But if the producers and/or Lonsdale wanted him to play a big part, then he'd probably still be a regular. This news suggests that either they decided to drop him or he decided to move on, or maybe that the Flash producers have plans for him again. Although I guess they could do an occasionally-recurring-on-various-shows thing like they did with Wentworth Miller this past season.

Him not returning feels kind of fishy. Why bring him aboard in the first place if your not going to make him a regular next season. Is the show getting an new show runner or is that only happening on "Arrow?"

Kinda bummed about this. Wally was so much fun on Legends, and he fit great with the team.

Lonsdale posted on Twitter that it was his own choice not to be a regular on either Legends or The Flash next season. That he loves the character and this does not rule out seeing him return occasionally. That he wants the opportunity to do other things too. It's best to look it up to see his exact words. I would share but he shared it written in 2 picture files and not sure how to do that.

Often fans blame the producers and writers for these departures. Over looking it could totally the choice of the actors themselves. At least it was on good terms and there is an opening for him to return.

This is probably for the best. I think both series have way too many regular cast members. Zari has been barely explored than brought in Wally, and now John Constantine.

I feel like the writers get so excited about bringing these new characters every year they do not think how they are going to mange all of them. Like a kid who buys every new toy and most end up being unused quickly because their attention goes to the next shiny new object they see.

Phil Klemmer is still running the show.

And there's nothing "fishy" about plans changing. TV production is a complicated business with many, many ever-shifting factors that have to be balanced, and unexpected changes in direction are a matter of course. There are dozens of reasons why an actor who'd been expected to stay on could suddenly leave. It happens all the time.
